For as long as I can remember, I've been drawn to the quiet beauty of the landscape. Painting has been part of my life since my early teens. Through the years—while raising a family and building a career of over 30 years in graphic design and brand development—it remained my constant creative outlet. Today, I'm grateful to devote myself to painting full-time.

My greatest inspiration is the ever-changing relationship between light, color, and shadow. Whether it's the ageless beauty of a weathered coastal cottage, or the peaceful aroma of backyard Maine, these are the moments that stop me. They remind me that the simplest scenes are often the most enduring.

Working primarily in watercolor, I strive to capture not only a place, but the feel of being there. The spontaneity of watercolor allow each painting to develop with a life of its own—as nature is literally doing the lion’s share of the work. Recently, I've begun exploring acrylics, discovering new opportunities for expression.

Largely self-taught, I continue to learn by experimenting, observing, and painting the places that inspire me most. Every painting is another lesson in seeing the world around us.
